John LandbergCFP

John joined Baird in March 2009 and has 31 years of experience in the financial services industry.  In 1990, he began his career with A.G. Edwards where he was until his move to Baird.  For a short time, in addition to being a Financial Advisor, John served as a Branch Manager.

John attended California State University, Chico and earned a BS in Finance.  After graduation, he worked for Pepsi-Cola for a year, prior to joining A.G. Edwards.  He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.  To earn the CFP® certificate, John had to complete an approved educational program, pass a rigorous examination and meet stringent experience requirements.  John also adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and he fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.

Active in his community, John is an avid golfer, Ironman triathalon competitor and has been involved in numerous committees at The Granite Bay Golf Club over the past 20 years.  He is also involved with Bayside church.

John and his wife Jackie are long-time residents of Granite Bay where they currently reside. They have two children, Kaleigh and Lucas, and one dog named Tux. Kaleigh lives in Roseville with her Husband Kevin, and Lucas is currently attending Boise State University studying creative writing. John grew up in Hawaii for 11 years prior to moving to Susanville, CA, where he graduated from Lassen high school.  He enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as golfing, exercising, and skiing.
