About Kevin

Kevin A. Kennedy CPA

Kevin was born and raised in Bethel, CT.  He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, and is a member of the Connecticut Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s.

Kevin has served as a board member of a publicly traded bank and was the designated financial expert during his tenure on that board. Kevin is a long time member of the board at the Pomperaug Office Park Condominium Association serving as President, and recently joined the Roxbury Land Trust Board of Directors in his hometown.

He lives in Roxbury, CT with his wife, Stacey, and has 4 young adult children. They also foster 2 lovable Black Labs (Herbie & Elton), who are stud dogs in The “Guiding Eyes for the Blind” program and are frequently seen in The Roxbury Land Trust properties.

Having been blessed with many outstanding mentors, Kevin has started and developed the Kennedy Wealth & Tax Management Summer Learning program for mature high school and college students interested in learning deeply about a career in financial services.

A lifelong entrepreneur, his first job was delivering newspapers starting at age 10. Kevin’s father taught him to play golf at age 8 and he continues to enjoy the game today (while still in search of the elusive first “hole-in-one”).

He has coached each of his children in a variety of sports, including 17 years of ice hockey, which recently concluded, allowing time for a renewed love of downhill skiing and personal fitness.
